Nokia Mural has user-selectable color illumination

Nokia on Wednesday tailored itself to Americans with the Mural, an AT&T-only clamshell. The phone is one of the US carrier's few fashion phones and lights up in one of several user-selectable colors, including blue, red, green, orange, purple and pink. There are dedicated music keys on the exterior of the phone, allowing users to navigate their music libraries while keeping the shell closed.

The device is mid-range in most areas with 2-megapixel camera, 3G over HSPA and a microSDHC card slot for storage. AT&T's services are logically preloaded and include Mobile Music, Navigator and Video Share.

The Mural will begin shipping at AT&T retail stores and online starting on September 6, priced at $50 on a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
