Xbox 360 Halo 3 Wi-Fi bundle

Canadian retailer Future Shop this week went beyond Microsoft's official Xbox price cuts by launching an even more aggressively-priced bundle for the game. First spotted earlier in the week and now online, the Elite Value Bundle gives the typical 120GB Xbox 360 Elite a copy of Halo 3 as well as the Wireless Network Adapter for Wi-Fi. The pack by itself gives the console an edge over the slim PS3 by matching its Wi-Fi and adding a free game in the process.

The bundle also costs just $330 Canadian ($300 US), or about $130 less than what the individual parts would cost by themselves; those who order online also get a copy of Battlefield: Bad Company for free. Currently, there doesn't appear to be an end to when the Value Bundle will go on sale, and the bundle has its own custom box artwork suggesting the model is long-term offering rather than just a temporary discount.
