PS3 250GB Uncharted 2 bundle surfaces
Sony's rumored 250GB PlayStation 3 gained more traction again today with a leak showing a box for the system. The pack seen by Engadget shows both the upgraded capacity for the slim PS3 and the presence of the high-profile sequel Uncharted 2 in the package. The bundle suggests Sony is mirroring the strategy it took with the 160GB PS3 until it was phased out, which tied that system to the original Uncharted for a higher $499 price.
Launch info is unknown but is presumed to have the console in stores in sync with (or shortly after) Uncharted 2's mid-October ship date, likely at $399. The Tokyo Game Show is slated for next week and would present one of the first major opportunities to launch the second revamped PS3 model, though the event is often skewed towards the Japanese audience first.
