More detailed early look at LG Chocolate Touch

LG's upcoming VX8575 handset, the Chocolate Touch, has been spotted again, this time with more detailed images, which were posted in a recent PhoneArena report. The new batch all but confirms that the Chocolate Touch will not look like the similarly named Chocolate Touch BL40 due for Europe. The new photos show off the interface, revealing a lack of LG's S-Class UI.

The reason for the different VX8575 apparently stems from the unfavorable reaction to the more daring design of the BL40 by focus groups. The version apparently approved for sale resembles the LG Dare both in terms of appearance and specs. These include a 3.2-megapixel camera, a 3.5mm headset jack, web browser, music player, and an 800x480 touchscreen display. A shortcut to Microsoft's Bing search engine is also visible in the images of the menu.

High-speed data network access support for the LG Chocolate Touch is expected, as is a one-touch copy and paste function.

Despite the new images, a price and launch date are still mysteries.
