Motorola Entice W766 now at Verizon

Verizon and Motorola on Tuesday announced the Motorola Entice W766 is now available through the carrier's online store. The flip phone has one-touch external shortcuts to common features like the music player and speakerphone. To access the 2-megapixel camera, the phone needs to be opened, but again has a single button to access it.

External storage up to 8GB is handled through a microSDHC memory card slot, though no card is in the box. Stereo Bluetooth is an option, and users can sync the phone to a computer through USB. The Entice can access Verizon services that include VZ Navigator, Family Locator, e-mail, IM chat and Dashboard. Compatibility with Backup Assistant lets users backup their contact info online.

The clamshell is now available online for $40 after a $50 mail-in rebate and on a new two-year contract. It will be in stores later this month for $40, though the rebate is mail-in only.
