Chumby one gets FM radio, faster CPU, more

Chumby will add a new gadget to its range, with the Chumby one, which will be a clock radio. The all-purpose device adds both a regular FM radio tuner, and will bring in Pandora Internet radio as well as access to other Internet radio stations. As with the original Chumby device, userscan install widgets that include Google Calendar, weather, Facebook and nearly 1,500 others.

While few other hardware changes are made, they do include a faster 454MHz (versus 350MHz) processor and the shedding of the padded exterior in favor of solid plastic. The screen remains sized at 3.5 inches and retains the same 320x240 resolution. The Chumby one will be priced at about $100 when it launches in November. [via TheGadgeteer]
