Developer has yet to receive response from Apple

HTC's upcoming HD2 smartphone has been spotted on T-Mobile internal documents, according to TmoNews. The recently announced handset, marking HTC's latest flagship, will ship with Windows Mobile 6.5 and a capacitive 800x480 touchscreen. Internally, the device sports a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 448MB of RAM, and 7.2Mb/s HSPA connectivity.

The company claims the HD2 will ship sometime later this month, like starting with O2 UK and eventually other carriers such as T-Mobile UK. Fine print on the leaked document describe it as "confidential and proprietary information of T-Mobile USA," although further details, including pricing and potential launch dates, remain unknown.

I'm curious to see how well it sells...

considering it's going to be running that Windows Mobile stuff that nearly every company seems to be avoiding like a plague. The HD2 seems to have a lot of nice hardware but HTC sales have been hit pretty hard even though their devices are pretty well spec'ed. It sure has got a huge screen.

    When's the Android version?

Having used WinMo on an HTC Touch Plus for a bit all I can say is: never again.

I actually do like the HTC phones but will never get another one running Windows.
