Omnia II due at Verizon on November 1st?

Omnia II smartphone gets rumored release date


The Samsung Omnia II demonstrated at CTIA will apparently be released by Verizon on November 1st, according to PhoneArena. While this is a rumor thus far, the source is said to be a reliable one. The handset will sport a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen, along with a 5-megapixel camera that can record video at 720x480 pixels.

The handset is reported to initially ship with with Windows Mobile 6.1, but will be updated to 6.5 later on. The possibility remains that the phone will ship with Windows Mobile 6.5 initially. Despite the rumored release date, there is still no indication of what the handset will cost.
