Samsung debuts 933HD Plus and 2333HD
Samsung in a late afternoon update added two crossover computer LCDs to its mix. The 23-inch 2333HD and 19-inch 933HD+ both have built-in HDTV tuners and remotes to double as TVs in tight spaces. Appropriately, they both share 16:9 aspect ratios that avoid black bars for native HD video at either a 720p-friendly 1360x768 (for the 933HD+) or 1080p (for the 2333HD).
Either screen produces a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and a 5ms pixel response time. All have at least component, HDMI and VGA input in addition to speakers, but the 2333HD adds a second HDMI jack as well as a Dolby Digital-capable sound system.
Samsung is shipping both LCDs today at prices of $250 for the 933HD+ and $330 for the 2333HD.

Those seems like very competitive prices, especially since it's a HD TV as well. But what's with those weird product names?

Not sure how this is a new item-- I bought the 2333HD at Costco at least 6 months ago. I love it. Great TV and computer monitor. It's got lots of inputs so I was able to connect 3 Mac Minis and a TiVO using the hdmi, dvi, and video inputs.
