Dulin's Books outs e-book readers, promises more

Dulin's Books recently announced the arrival of the PocketBook 301 and the PocketBook 360 e-book readers in the US. Both devices are rebadged, as Dulin's Books is a reseller not a manufacturer, but are relatively advanced for the class. The PocketBook 360 has a 5-inch E-Ink Vizplex display and is powered by a 400MHz Samsung processor, while its 512MB of built-in memory can be expanded to 32GB thanks to a microSD memory card slot.

It otherwise has an accelerometer that will automatically orientate the display for landscape or portrait viewing, and will ship with an integrated cover. It is available in white or black.

The PocketBook 301 has a larger, 6-inch E-Ink Vizplex display and a 400MHz processor, and the same microSD card slot. It can be had in four colors and has built-in speakers and the ability to play MP3 music.

Common features include support for six languages, built-in Sudoku, chess, Sea Battle and solitaire games as well as a picture viewer with a slideshow function, a clock and calendar. Users can also change the font size or make notes in the electronic books.

Dullin's books will soon offer a larger selection of e-readers fairly soon, along with new media tablets. The next device, Boox by Onyx, will be offered for pre-orders in the next few weeks. The PocketBook 301 is now available for $275, while the $240 PocketBook 360 will start shipping in about two weeks.
