X360 11n wireless adapter now available

After a premature release, Microsoft's 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter is now on sale through Newegg. It provides multiple times more bandwidth than the original 802.11g adapter and uses MIMO (multiple in, multiple out) through twin antennas to both provide a more reliable signal as well as to extend range. Microsoft claims up to twice the range of the earlier technology.

Microsoft's adapter is also dual-band and can run on 5GHz to avoid interference as well as 2.4GHz for those with older 802.11n routers or who have to run a mixed-mode network to support legacy devices. It plugs in through USB and is listed for $100, though Costco before it temporarily pulled the adapter was selling it for $88.

    nice gadget!

That's a nice and creative way to provide WiFi connection to those who already have the Xbox 360 with no built-in WiFi. With this , they can be able to connect their Xbox 360 to the internet using wireless connection through their wireless router. If this doesn't work for you though, and you're looking for a nice alternative, I've got just the thing for you. Check out this Xbox 360 Internet Connection Kit from Netgear, it acts the same way as the WiFi adapter giving wireless internet connectivity for your Xbox 360, and it also works for your PS2, PS3, and PC gaming. Check this link out: http://bit.ly/bByST7, for more information about this wonderful product from Netgear.
