Garmin and Asus have announced that the nüvifone M20 has been updated with Microsoft's latest Windows Mobile 6.5 software. The software provides a revamped home screen, with touch-optimized icons and access to the variety of apps available through the Windows Marketplace for Mobile. Users can also take advantage of Facebook and Microsot's My Phone service.

Despite the software upgrade, the phone retains the same navigation-centric configuration as the previous version. My Phone allows users to migrate data, automatically sync content, back-up or restore information, remotely wipe data, or view photos between computer and mobile platforms.

Existing users of the nüvifone M20 are eligible for the Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade.
