Best Buy Thanksgiving sale flyer leaked


The flyer for Best Buy's Black Friday/Thanksgiving sale has been leaked on the Internet ahead of its official release thanks to a copy posted today. Among the 'doorbusters' are a $300 PS3 bundle that includes two games, while an Xbox 360 bundle with six games will carry the same sticker price. Another front-page deal involves a 46-inch, 120Hz LED-backlit Samsung HDTV with free home delivery, hook-up and recycling for $1,600, or $1,000 off.

A 50-inch 1080p, 600Hz Samsung Plasma TV will cost $898, a savings of $402. Sony Blu-ray player with one Blu-ray movie will cost $150. A Samsung Blu-ray player that can access Netflix and Pandora with an optional adapter carries the same price. Two tiers of Blu-ray movies will be offered, at $8 and $13, while DVD movies will be divided up into $4 and $7 offerings.

Among notebooks, Best Buy is notably selling the new MacBook with a $150 gift card for the regular $1,000.

A 15.5-inch Sony notebook with Windows 7, an Intel Pentium Dual Core CPU, 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive will be sold for $400. The same notebook with a Blu-ray drive, Sony headphones and a copy of The Taking of Pelham 123 on Blu-ray costs $480.

An HP desktop PC with an AMD Athlon II X4 quad-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium, a 20-inch LCD and color printer will cost $500, representing $330 in savings. An eMachines desktop with an AMD Athlon CPU, 3GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, 18.5-inch LCD and Canon laser printer will cost $300, or a savings of $320.

An external 500GB My Passport Elite hard drive from WD will cost $80, down from $135.

For shutterbugs, Canon's T1i DSLR with an 18-55mm lens is $700, a savings of $100. Nikon's Coolpix S60 can be had for $180, or $120 less than usual. The Coolpix P90 bundled with a second battery and a camera case is $330, representing $135 saved. Canon's HF20 HD camcorder can be had for $500, or $300 off the regular price.

At least three GPS units are offered for a minimum of half-off, including the $90 Magellan SE 4 GPS, the $175 TomTom Go 730 GPS and $150 TomTom 540S. The front-page doorbuster is Garmin's nuvi205w at $100, another 50 percent reduction.

As for cellphones, the Samsung Instinct S30, Sony Ericsson W518a, BlackBerry Curve 8330 and Motorola Rival are all offered for free after savings on new or upgrade two-year contracts. The LG Chocolate Touch is also free with a new two-year activation, or $50 on qualified upgrade plans. Jabra's BT-2080 Bluetooth headset will cost $20, down from $50, while Motorola's H710 with noise-cancelling is half-priced, at $40.
