LG to launch watch phone sequels, more Android

LG is working on releasing more watch phones like its GD910 that is currently shipping at UK wireless provider Orange. LG’s UK sales and marketing director, John Barton, said more styles of the LG Watch Phone will be introduced. No other details were given, however, and so it may only involve a new color or other style change as opposed to a whole new device.

Barton also mentioned that a new touchscreen Android phone will arrive sometime next year to join LG's first Android-powered phone, the GW620. Some believe this could come in the form of the LG HQ, which currently runs on Windows Mobile 6.1. The handset also uses a Snapdragon processor.

Exactly when the successor to the LG GD910 will be released is unknown, or even when the original will arrive in the US. Dates for the second LG Android phone are likewise unknown. [via ElectricPig]
