Sony Ericsson working on XPERIA Pureness 2
The designer XPERIA Pureness handset from Sony Ericsson will get a successor, according to the original's designer, Daniel Mauritzson. While the original's mission was to keep it simple, the Pureness 2 will be even more so, Mauritzson says. In his own words, the Pureness 2 will act as a "counterbalance" to smartphones.
While little specifics were revealed, Mauritzson did say the keys could be removed, though for what purpose isn't known. The device will also focus on software, making it easier to navigate the monochrome screen and focus on high-contrast icons.
The device isn't due out very soon, however, as Mauritzson points out the original took two years to create. [via ElectricPig]
