More information of Motorola Motus revealed

New information reveals some of the expected features of the Motorola Motus that is rumored to be coming to AT&T as the provider's first Android-powered handset. Some of the features and functions were covered before but have reportedly bee nconfirmed by an unnamed source with access to the device. The unique keyboard flips backwards to face the outside when the phone is closed. In the open position, the trackpad located on the underside of the keyboard lets users scroll on the screen.

A third hinge position lets users stand the handset up for viewing videos. The previously mentioned 5-megapixel camera with LED flash are mounted on the keyboard, which indicates it could be used as a type of webcam for video calls. The MOTOBLUR interface is apparently part of the specs as well, while the keys are backlit and described as domed.

A new piece of news, albeit somewhat ambiguous, has the device shipping with a Snapdragon CPU rather than the expected 528MHz MSM7291A chip also found in the Cliq. The Motus is also said to be about 0.75 inches thick.

The Motus isn't expected to arrive at AT&T until April or May of 2010. [via Engadget]
