Palm Pixi with AT&T carrier branding spotted
An unnamed source claims to have seen someone using an AT&T-branded Palm Pixi handset on San Francisco's mass transit system. The early look is just an indication and there is no official word from neither AT&T nor Palm about whether the Pixi is actually coming to the provider. Thus far, the Pixi is only available with a Sprint connection.
The candybar otherwise has a 2.6-inch multitouch screen and is compatible with 3G networks. There is also GPS onboard, along with a 2-megapixel camera and 8GB of internal memory capacity. A Facebook app is already on the phone when it ships, and users can sync their Facebook contacts with their phone book using Synergy.
Sprint currently has an exclusive deal to sell the Pixi, but it's believed this may end as soon as the end of the year and clear a path for other US carriers. [via PreCentral]
