Concord to out 2-inch Flip-like camcorder
Concord Keystone will add a new product to its lineup at the CES show, with its Easy Shot Clip ultra-mini digital video camera. Not unlike the product that pioneered the category, Pure Digital's Flip Ultra HD, is pocket-sized, with Concord claiming it is the smallest and cheapest such device in its class. The Easy Shot Clip has 2GB of flash memory, and is meant for capturing relatively low resolution videos for use on video sharing sites such as YouTube.
Up to two hours of 640x480, 30 frampes per second video can be captured at a time. Software bundled with the camera allows users to edit their videos, while the Arcsoft Media Impression program will let users quickly upload videos to photo-sharing sites. The software supports computers running on Windows XP, Vista and 7, as well as Mac OS X 10.4.7 or newer.
The Easy Shot Clip will ship in either black or white with a mounting stand, neck strap, shirt clip, bicycle mount and helmet adapter in February, priced at $70.
