FH100, H15, Z2000 and Z550
As a part of its CES unveilings, Casio has announced four new EXILIM cameras. The first, the FH100, is rated at 10.1 megapixels, and uses a 10x optical zoom lens. Its primary feature is burst photography, allowing users to shoot stills at up to 40fps; when active however, burst speeds limit users to 30 shots and a resolution of 9 megapixels. A separate high-speed movie mode records at up to 1,000fps.
The remaining cameras, the H15, Z2000 and Z550, are all 14.1-megapixel models, based on new EXILIM Engine 5.0 processing technology. Like the FH100, the H15 uses a 10x lens. It is also equipped with a 3-inch LCD, hardware image stabilization and HD movie recording. The Z2000 scales down to a 5x lens, while the Z550 is limited to 4x. Each model, including the FH100, supports ISO sensitivities up to 3200.
Prices and release dates remain unavailable.
