Portable scanner for Mac

Apparent this week will be displaying the Doxie document scanner in Las Vegas ahead of CES. The new compact portable-scanner is capable of sending scanned documents or photos directly to popular web-apps including Evernote, Flickr, and Google Docs, as well as printing to desktop apps such as iPhoto or Picasa. Features include a Doxie Cloud PDF hosting service which enables users to share documents with other people through Twitter, e-mail or chat.

Doxie offers one integrated multi-tap heart button for simple scanning of items, and works with any Mac OS X 10.5 or higher (although Mac OS X 10.6 or later is recommended). The printer is expected for release in February of this year and has a retail price of $130.
