3M MPro 150 pico projector gets 1GB of memory

We stopped by the 3M booth at CES and experienced the company’s latest pico projector, the MPro 150. Unlike the existing 120, the 150 has 1GB of built-in memory for PC-free presentations and ships with a 2GB microSD memory card slot for adding even more data. There is now also a USB port to transfer files directly from the PC to the projector.

Other specs include 15 lumens of brightness and a built-in speaker, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. MP3 files loaded onto the device can therefore be played back, as well as movies, though the MPro 150 is meant mainly as a business presentation projector. The device weighs under six ounces and is just over 5 inches long. 3M does not recommend reproducing images larger than 42 inches, as the image gets distorted. Display resolution is set at 640x480. Supported documents include Word, Power Point, Excel and Adobe PDF.

The MPro 150 should ship at the start of February, priced at $395.
