Epson releases PowerLite Z8050WNL projector for large venues

Epson has released the PowerLite Z8050WNL, a projector designed for use large venues. The device is the company’s brightest projector offered, featuring 7,000-lumen output and 1280x800 resolution. The three-chip '3LCD' technology is claimed to improve power efficiency and vibrant colors.

Message broadcasting technology can be used to send customized images or alerts over a network, while other devices can connected via HDMI and DVI. Users can control the projector via remote, RS-232, or IP, while customizable lens options support functions such as motorized zoom, focus and lens shift.

The Epson PowerLite Z8050WNL projector is currently available through supporting retailers, with an MSRP of $19,000, and includes a three-year limited warranty.
