Sony Ericsson Faith smartphone spotted
A new smartphone from Sony Ericsson, the Faith, has been spotted recently, revealing it will be part of the company's environmentally-friendly GreenHeart lineup. The device runs on the more touch-friendly Windows Mobile 6.5.3 and has a 2.4-inch touchscreen with 320x240 resolution in addition to the full QWERTY hardware keyboard. Assisted GPS functionality will be built-in, as will a microSD memory card slot.
There is also talk of solar panels that will charge the handset's batteries in direct sunlight and provide a long battery life. A screen capture reveals only 256MB of integrated memory and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR. The Faith supports HSDPA, WLAN and quadband GSM networks, as well as dualband UMTS and EDGE, indicating it will likely show in Europe first.
If or when the handset launches at an unspecified date, it will be available in either silver or black. [via DailyiPhoneBlog]

Wow
They're going to sell dozens and dozens of those. I can't wait for that unspecified date.
Seriously, that phone would have been pretty cool 2 years ago.
Solar panels? Whoo hoo, I extended my battery life by 6 minutes today because of the free power from the sun, now let me go plug it in overnight like always. Yeah that makes for a green phone.
