Unknown BlackBerry Curve 8910 spotted

A new BlackBerry handset was spotted recently, and thanks to an equally new Bluetooth SIG certification we know it should be called the Curve 8910. While specs are relatively unknown, the leaked image does reveal that the phone will have a trackpad, much like the existing Bold 9700. Unlike the 9700, however, the metal frets around the keys are missing, and they resemble those found on the 8900 handset.

An unnamed source also reported that the 8910 will contain OS 5.0.4 or higher. The handset also curiously resembles and likely has other similarities to the stillborn BlackBerry Atlas phone that was spotted in the fall of last year, which could mean there is no 3G network support. There is no indication of pricing or a release date for the 8910, though it's expected to ship sometime this year. [via BerryReview]
