Wozniak says Nexus One pick was wrong
Apple's co-creator, Steve Wozniak, corrected himself in a comment late Friday about his claimed preference for the Nexus One. He now says that he mistakenly thought the question referred to new devices he'd been using at the time and maintains that his two iPhones are still his favorites. Google's Android flagship is simply considered one of the better devices of recent memory.
"I am not a switcher but I'm not going to tell people that the Nexus One is not a good gadget. Same for the Droid," Wozniak explained to Gizmodo readers. "I have had prior Android phones that I didn't consider good. I usually have between 2 and 6 different cell phones on me, more when there are interesting product introductions."
The early Apple employee is often known as one of the most ardent iPhone fans and has been known to queue up at retail stores for iPhone launches even though he has been offered free units by fellow founder Steve Jobs. Typically, he has described it as embracing the community and wanting to be on the same level as fans.

Not sure why this guy gets the attention that he does. Yes, he was once part of the Apple story but that was a long time ago. His frequent efforts (or those of his publicity agent) to associate himself with Apple's recent success are pathetic.

So give the man credit where credit is due. He is THE earliest Apple employee along with Steve Jobs. He deserves a little more respect than some of the comments are giving him here.

For a smartphone user, he seems rather stupid. I'd thought the whole purpose of a good smartphone or featurephone was to eliminate carrying extra devices.
Is it true that he usually cuts in line at iPhone retail releases claiming to be an ex-founder of Apple Computer? How sad. Woz must weigh at least 300 lbs. and he still walks in Steve Jobs skinny shadow.

What is pathetic is that you can't tell he has NEVER claimed to be part of Apple's current success. Where do you get such ******** from?
He gets attention because he is REALLY smart and is also LOTS of FUN. He gives great quotes and really knows what he is talking about. He buys, with his own money, lots of gadgets, and if you ask him which ones he likes he will tell you honestly and truthfully how and why something is good or bad.
Next time do you home work.
