Notebook features Intel Core i5 CPU

Toshiba has begun shipping its Satellite E205 notebooks with Intel's Wireless Display technology. The wireless system, first introduced at CES, works with Intel's latest chipset which allows users to view the notebook display on any HDTV with Composite or HDMI inputs. A small box connects directly to the TV, although no external adapter is required on the computer side.

The E205 features a 14-inch display with 1366x768 resolution, a 2010 Core i5-430M CPU, 4GB of DDR3 memory, a DVD burner, and a 500GB hard drive. The display provides LED, while the keyboard is also illuminated. Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit ships pre-installed on the system.

The Satellite E205 is now available from Best Buy for $900. The Netgear Push2TV adapter is included in the price.
