T-Mobile myTouch 3G with 3.5mm input due Feb 10th

T-Mobile will get a very slightly revised version of the myTouch 3G smartphone on February 10th, according to a Tuesday BGR leak. The design changes are small but notably involve adding a standard 3.5mm headset jack instead of depending on an adapter for HTC's ExtUSB port.

This addition will make the handset very similar to the recently announced myTouch 3G Fender Edition but without this model's unique wood finish, bundled 16GB microSDHC memory card and preloaded content. The Fender is due on January 20th, or about three weeks ahead of the freshened myTouch 3G.

Whether or not Android 2.1 will also be included is not known. Whether a price hike will also be part of the changes for the refreshed myTouch 3G at T-Mobile is likewise not revealed.
