Features two SATA drives, up to 4TB storage space
EZQuest has introduced a new JBOD version of its Thunder Pro Triple Interface storage system. The Thunder Pro JBOD (Just a Bunch of Disks) is designed for professional audio and video users, offering support for multi-stream video playback and real time effects, as well as any DAW editing programs. It features two separate 7,200 RPM SATA II hard drives, with cache buffers up to 16MB and total storage space up to 4TB.
It carries two FireWire 800 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and one FireWire 400 front-access port. Drive temperature is regulated quietly through a variable speed fan, while in a unique touch its warning buzzer indicates overheating or fan failure. The storage system also provides a smart power switch that is designed to automatically turn the drive off whenever it's unplugged, preventing an unintended shutdown.
The Thunder Pro JBOD requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or higher and is available directly from EZQuest for $530.

All right, who's disabled the spell checkers at MacNN? :)
Also, the pricing is wrong. A quick trip to the website reveals that the empty case itself is $129.
If you want them to include (2) 1TB drives, that raises the price to $299 (but includes over $100 in quality disk management software), and if you want (2) 2TB drives (for a total of 4TB), that's $549, not $530.
