Arcade-style Mad Catz game pad revealed

To coincide with today's release of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars for the Nintendo Wii comes news of peripherals maker Mad Catz releasing an arcade-like fighting stick controller. The device does not need to be physically connected to the Wii console but only to the Wii remote. Flipping a switch lets users perform D-pad actions through the stick.

The game pad has a matte finish and a variable turbo mode, and it should work with arcade-style games other than fighting titles. Mad Catz's stick will be priced at $80 when it's released at an unspecified date. [via ArsTechnica]
