HTC Supersonic due at Sprint in March
A rendering and a live photo of the previously leaked HTC Supersonic handset have been spotted recently, along with a projected launch date at provider Sprint. The device is nearly physically identical to the HTC HD2 but uses Android operating system instead of Windows Mobile. Otherwise, there is the same 1GHz Snapdragon CPU and 1GB of storage space. The 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen is a more efficient OLED screen instead of the LCD in the HD2.
What the Supersonic does add is a larger capacity battery and integrated kickstand into the back panel. The camera is the same 5-megapixel unit found in the Nexus One. The phone should ship with Android 2.1 and HTC's Sense UI.
Sprint should get the device sometime in March, though pricing remains unknown. [via AndroidPhones and UnwiredView]
