Sony VAIO M to switch from AIO to portable

A new rumor today asserts that Sony could be reviving a 6-year-old PC badge in a different form. Once limited to a series of all-in-one desktops from 2004, the VAIO M should reappear soon but as a notebook. Only two model numbers are known to exist, the VPC-M111AX/B and VPC-M111AX/W, but do imply black and white colors for the same design.

Little else has been given to Sony Insider, but more is expected to come in the future. Sony already caters to most notebook categories so far, but the M's previous role as an ultra-compact media center PC implies the notebook version might have a similar focus.
