Nexus One dock confirmed to have Bluetooth audio

Impressions of using an upcoming dock for the Nexus One have surfaced on the Internet earlier this week, revealing it has Bluetooth support along with a mini audio jack for connecting to external speakers. The phone sits in the dock vertically and will even be accommodated while wearing a soft case. Music can be played through the dock to the connected speakers or wirelessly thanks to Bluetooth support.

The range of the Bluetooth is said to be about 20 feet with music playing, even when there is a wall or two in-between the phone and dock. While this hasn't been confirmed by the hands-on, an earlier report indicated that the device will have an A/V output. Google also said in a leaked ad that the dock will allow phone charging, photo playback and more.

The release date, while unknown, is expected very soon, while pricing is also unconfirmed but could sit at about $45. [via AndroidGuys]
