Lenovo begins selling G560 notebook with Core i3


Lenovo has began shipping its 15.6-inch IdeaPad G560 notebook PC. The sole model available among the entry notebooks is powered by a 2.13GHz Intel Core i3 processor and 4GB of RAM. The 320GB hard drive is preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Graphics for the 1366x768 resolution, LED-backlit display are handled by an integrated Intel processor.

Most specs are typical beyond this and center on a a dual-layer DVD burner as well as a 2-megapixel webcam and a six-cell lithium-ion battery. Connections include a VGA port, HDMI output, two USBs along with a USB/eSATA combo and an Ethernet jack. A multi-card reader and ExpressCard slot are likewise present. The notebook costs $849.
