Projectiondesign FR12 puts lamp in a separate box
Projectiondesign today claimed a first in front projectors by developing the FR12. The system is the only projector in the world to move the lamp away from the actual projector and puts it in a rackmountable box that can sit up to 98 feet away. Light is sent through a lead in the cable and lets owners keep the normally large, hot lamp out of tight spaces.
Most of the specifications are still unknown, but these and launch details are expected to show at the Integrated Systems Europe expo on February 2nd. [via Gizmag]
