Alienware M11x gaming notebook due in Japan in February

Alienware M11x gets Japan date, $100 price bump
More complete specs, a different price tag and a ship date for Japan have all been leaked for the 11.6-inch Alienware M11x gaming notebook on Monday. A leaked page and rumblings on Dell Japan's forums reveal the PC will ship to Japan at least earlier than expected, with a target of February 5th. Malaysia is also expected to get the notebook sometime this month.
The leak also reveals that users will have a choice of a 1.3GHz Intel Pentium or a 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo CPU. The notebook notably has NVIDIA's GT 335M GPU with 1GB of RAM that can play back 720p HD video either on the screen or an external TV thanks to an HMDI output. Battery life should range from between two and 6.5 hours, depending on the type of usage.
The US was billed to get the notebook sometime this spring, though it could now arrive earlier. The price also inexplicably ballooned in Japan by $100, to $899 from an expected $799. [via Netbooked]
