Motorola Devour to get Flash, Palm Pixi's CPU

Devour will have Flash support and share Pixi CPU
The Motorola Devour handset due for release at Verizon will ship with support for Adobe Flash Lite, a perusal of the newly released spec sheet reveals. This is an important distinction for the Android phone, as not even the Droid has such a feature. Flash Lite 3.1 will play Flash 9 content right in the browser.
The specifications also reveal that the handset will have the same 600MHz Qualcomm chipset as the Palm Pixi. Notably, the Pixi lacks Flash support and is claimed by Palm to lack enough processing power for the task. This could be due to webOS Flash 10.1 player being more processing power intensive that Android's Flash Lite 3.1, however.
The Devour couples a sliding 3.1-inch touchscreen with a hardware QWERTY keyboard and optical trackpad. It also gets a 3-megapixel camera, has the MOTOBLUR interface, and will ship with an 8GB microSDHC memory card. The handset has 3G network support, and built-in GPS and Wi-Fi functionality.
While an official price has not yet been revealed by Verizon, it should cost somewhat less than the $200 the Droid commands on contract when it launches in March. [via PhoneArena]
