Samsung Bada phone with Super AMOLED due Feb. 14

Samsung has released a teaser page saying it will unveil a brand new handset at the Mobile World Congress show on February 14th. The press event is by invite only, and is widely expected to revolve around the first cellphone running not only Samsung's own Bada-powered operating system, but also with the Super AMOLED touchscreen. Little is known about the device, but the screen should sport built-in touch, a size of 3.3 inches and a resolution of at least 800x480.

Bada, which means Ocean in Korean, will be open-source, like the recently popular Android and LiMo software. Samsung introduced the OS early this winter. The first Bada-powered handset should be out in March or April, though this is unofficial.
