New HD and SD models will be available in March

Panasonic has released pricing and availability for the three new compact HD video cameras and three new standard definition video cameras that it had revealed in early January. The HD cameras will start at $500, and the SD cameras at $250. All six video cameras will be available in mid-March.

All three HD cameras feature 25X optical zoom and powered image stabilization, and record to a SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card. The HDC-SD60 will retail for $500. The HDC-TM55 adds 8GB of internal memory and will sell for $530. The HDC-HS60 has a 120GB internal hard drive and will cost $700.

The standard definition cameras include both wide angle and zoom features, and record to SD/SDHC/SDXC. The SDR-S50 will sell for $250. MSRP for the SDR-T50 is $270, and has 4GB of built-in memory in addition to the SD card slot. The SDR-H85 has an 80GB internal hard drive, and will retail for $350.
