Nexus still prone to dropping to 2G
Nexus One owners are still encountering serious problems keeping and holding a 3G signal despite the over-the-air update from last week, users are reporting. In spite of the supposed improvements, many still note their Android devices dropping to EDGE (2G) even in areas where 3G is known to work well. One demo (viewable below) shows the phone dropping 3G just by covering the antenna section at the bottom.
It's still not known what exactly causes the problem. The lack of a fix has raised speculation that the issue may stem from the cellular chipset providing T-Mobile-capable 3G and not firmware telling the chipset how to operate. Versions of the Nexus One for Verizon and AT&T are expected soon and may not be affected as a combination of chipset and frequency changes could change performance. [via Engadget]

Not the only problem
Yep, I''m getting disconnected all the time.
The bad part is that only restarting the phone solves it, and just for a little while!
Besides that, I found that the OS is great, but still misses some polish, the apps are OK but the hardware is actually the weakest point: hardware buttons are just out of focus, the battery doesn't last enough to end a day, it's disturbing.
