OfficeJet 4500 aimed at SME market
Today at Macworld, HP released its latest multifunction printer for small- and medium-sized businesses, the Officejet 4500. The Officejet 4500 provides 6ppm laser printing for text, 1m200 dpi optical scanning, fax and copy functions. The Officejet 4500 has both typical USB 2.0 as well as 10/100 Ethernet to print over the network. Other conveniences are a 20 page automatic document feeder for copying and scanning and a paper tray with a 100 sheet capacity.
The multifunction printer has a duty cycle of 3,000 printed pages per month, and is compatible with Windows 7, Vista, and XP, Mac OS X 10.4.x or higher, and Linux. HP will also offer a variant with 802.11g Wi-Fi, the Officejet 4500 Wireless.
The Officejet 4500 is expected to be available worldwide in March for an estimated $99.

not laser
I don't believe this printer provides "laser" printing as stated in the first paragraph.
