Ultraportable will go to market as Latitude 4310

A filing with the FCC confirms that Dell's rumored upcoming ultraportable notebook for business users, the "Lafite," will join the Latitude notebook series as the E4310. Full specs were not available, but correspondence between the testing center and Dell engineers confirms that the notebook will have UWB (Wireless USB), Wi-Fi and 3G networking support. An integrated RFID chip will automatically enable wireless functions.

Pricing and availability for the Latitude E4310 have not been announced but are likely to appear within the next few months. [via Engadget]
