Best Buy to carry Moto Devour on February 25

Moto Devour now for pre-sale at Best Buy Mobile
Best Buy on Tuesday said it will launch the Motorola Devour on February 25th, and is now offering pre-orders for the handset. This is ahead of the previously expected ship date of March at Verizon, which could still hold true. The pre-sale, which starts today only in stores, requires that hopefuls buy a $50 Best Buy gift card if they want to secure a spot in advance.
The Devour is the third Android handset in Verizon's lineup and will feature Motorola's MOTOBLUR interface that brings updates from various social networks onto one screen. It will also include a Happenings Widget and a Universal Inbox, either of which collects status, wall and photo updates from social networks and e-mails, respectively, into one place.
The handset otherwise sports a 3.1-inch touchscreen, a 3-megapixel camera, an optical trackpad and a horizontal slider that reveals a full QWERTY hardware keyboard. The 3G phone also gets GPS and Wi-Fi are all standard, and the device should ship with an 8GB microSDHC memory card.
Pricing at Best Buy still hasn't been announced, but the handset is expected to cost significantly less than $200 after a two-year contract.
