Wi-Reach Classic a competitor to MiFi hotspot

Connect One has introduced a mobile hotspot at the Mobile World Congress show currently ongoing in Barcelona, the Wi-Reach Classic. The MiFi competitor can split the signal from a USB 3G modem to up to 10 users, and can support either WiMAX and LTE 4G networks after a firmware update. The battery-powered cradle holds the USB modem, while another USB port charges the built-in battery.

A full charge promises five hours of use. For security, the number of W-Fi devices that can connect to the Wi-Reach Classic can be set, as can its range. The Wi-Reach Classic costs $99. [via SlashGear]
