Nokia X10 would be fast and use new OS
An as yet unverified rumor on Saturday claims Nokia will have a new flagship Xseries phone to formally kick off Symbian^3. The X10 would center on the new OS and use a 3.2-inch capacitive AMOLED touchscreen to show off Symbian's multi-touch and auto-rotation features. Best Boyz also alleges that it would be the second phone after the N900 to use an ARM Cortex-A8 processor and would carry a 600MHz chip roughly as fast as that in the iPhone 3GS.
Other details put it in the upper mid-range of Nokia's line with a 5-megapixel camera, 3G, GPS and Wi-Fi as well as either 16GB or 32GB of built-in storage and 256MB of RAM. A slide-out keyboard would make it a first for the Xseries.
A video showing the "release documents" was available but has since been pulled. The accuracy of the rumor has been called into question as there's no sign of a physical prototype, and many of the details could theoretically be produced without actual knowledge. Many rumors have circulated of phones that would headline Symbian^3, including the N98 and N8, and it's believed one or more of these is pure speculation rather than an in-progress smartphone. off course this won't happen
As Symbian^3 just announced from about one week, so it won't appear in real devices before about 6 months as montioned on Symbian site. Plus the mobile world congress has just finished from two days and it was great event for Nokia to announce phone like this.
And also there is Symbian^2 OS from about 6 months and no devices released runing this OS yet.
