Casio adds EX-S7 and EX-Z35

Casio saved two compact camera unveilings for its PMA launch. The Exilim EX-S7 serves as a relatively entry-level 12-megapixel model with a 3X lens and no image stabilization. Its chief addition is 720p video recording with a dedicated capture button.

Alongside it, the EX-Z35 shoots at a similar resolution but is limited to widescreen 480p (854x480) for video. In return, it gets slightly higher sensitivity at ISO 3,200 instead of 1,600.

The EX-Z35 arrives first, coming in March for $110, and will be followed by a later spring launch of the EX-S7 for $140.

Simultaneously, Casio has added that it has started shipping the EX-FC150 to the US. The 10-megapixel point-and-shoot has a back-illuminated CMOS sensor for low light sensitivity and captures video in 720p. Casio prices it at $350.
