OTA update rumored coming for Verizon customers

Another rumor has Palm's webOS 1.4 going live on Februrary 25. An anonymous source claims that the new OS for Palm smartphones will begin rolling out to Verizon customers on February 25th. Palm had announced at CES in January that it would push an over-the-air update this month but hadn't given a date; a similar rumor that Palm would release webOS 1.4 to Sprint earlier in the month turned out to be unsubstantiated.

Improvements in webOS 1.4 are expected to include video recording, a minor performance increase, and a slightly different way to launch cards. Flash 10.1 will most likely not be integrated into the OS, but will be supported. Native Flash support is expected to be incorporated in webOS later in 2010. [via Pre Central]
