HTC Legend passes FCC testing with GSM support

A recently dug up FCC filing has revealed that the HTC Legend smartphone is approved for use in the US and has GSM network support. Historically, handsets that appear in such a fashion go on sale a few weeks later. While the frequency support of the Legend at the FCC is not revealed, the presence of a SIM card slot does narrow it down somewhat.

The Legend will sport a 600MHz processor and has a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen as its major features. There is also a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and an optical trackpad instead of a trackball. It should also ship with the latest Android 2.1 software with multi-touch support. [via AndroPhones]
