LG confirms WP7 device coming in September
News from China today confirms last month's report that had LG launching its first Windows Phone 7-equipped device in September. The company said it could arrive then but put a range on the release date, saying it would come sometime between September and November. Since the initial rumor, Microsoft officially announced Windows Phone 7, rather than what was believed to be Windows Mobile 7.
Details on the WP7-powered LG handset itself are unknown at this time, but are expected soon, perhaps as early as the CTIA show at the end of March. [via Engadget]
