Features 2GB per minute file transfer rate

Sanho Corporation has introduced the Hyperdrive Album, a portable photo storage device with user-swappable SATA hard drives in capacities up to 640GB. It also features CF and SDHC slots for expanding the storage capacity. Sanho claims the Hyperdrive is the only storage device on the market that can decode and display true RAW images, from any camera, on its 4.8-inch 800x480 pixel, 16 million color LCD screen.

The Hyperdrive Album supports transfer rates of up to 32MB/s via USB, with real-time CRC data verification during file transfer. The lithium-ion battery is said to allow users to transfer 200GB on a single charge. Overall dimensions are 6 x 3.5 x 1.2 inches.

The Hyperdrive Album will be available with a variety of hard drive sizes ranging from 160GB to 640GB. The suggested retail prices start at $350 for the 160GB model, while the 640GB variant fetches $600.
