webOS 1.4 screenshots leaked, captured video

Screenshots from the leaked webOS 1.4 software for Palm smartphones have hit the web on Friday, thanks to a user in the UK. At the same time, a video captured by the newfound video recording function is also up on YouTube, and embedded below, thanks to another, Spanish user. The screen caps reveal that Media Sync is turned off as a default, but can be readily turned back on in the Settings screen.

Blink Notifications are likewise standard-fare, and users can share their captured videos by uploading them directly to YouTube, e-mailing out, or sending out as an MMS. The call log is also now more comprehensive, showing call times and the status.

The full list of changes to the software can be found in our earlier story, linked above. The update is evidently reaching European customers, and Sprint is expected to launch the North American version of the software later today. [via PreCentral]
